Proud Soldiers

© Kirby, Caruso, Vanselow
℗ Pamme’s Ark and Point Of Magic ASCAP

Shot down from grace, in a flame of glory
On freedoms wings he rode
God speed our soldiers home
He pledged allegiance, he’s fighting tooth and nail
Brave and unsung hero
This soldier will prevail

God speed them, speed them
God speed our soldiers home
God speed them, speed them
God speed our soldiers home now

Where can he turn, his body’s aching
So valiantly he prays
That peace will find a way
He won’t stop believing
There’s got to be a reason that heaven sees
God give them the strength, keep them safe

God speed them, speed them
God speed our soldiers home
God speed them, speed them
God speed our soldiers home now

Hail Red, White and Blue
Proud Soldiers we salute you, we salute you
God speed our soldiers home now

God speed them, speed them
God speed our soldiers home...

Hold On

(Haven)
Pamme, Vanselow, Stein, Hotz
Out of sight but never out of heart, "Hold On" chronicles the journey of two
soulmates brought together to fulfill their karmic destiny, who despite time and
circumstance, reluctantly surrender to the realization that when love can't grow,
sometimes it's better to let go!
Hold On

Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you
Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you

With the season came, two hearts that would bring
Back love lost in time, lost love
Was love somehow reunited?
Was love somehow guided?
She’d tell him this just can’t be
The first time for baby you and me

Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you
Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you

As the seasons came, one heart began to stray
In his eyes she’d seen the light
Was love worth all the fighting?
Was love worth all the crying?
She’d tell him when love can’t grow
Sometimes it’s better to let go

Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you
Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you
He loves you, needs you, inside his heart he keeps you
So please hold on, hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you

No need to justify what we cannot explain
No need to justify our love was not in vain
Though, though we tried, our hearts will always know
Though, though we tried, our hearts will never let go

Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you
Hold on, Hold on girl
Lord knows he said he loves you

She believes, she knows their love was strong
She believes, love keeps her holding on
Yeah baby,ooh ooh yeah
Hold on, Hold on girl
Inside his heart he keeps you so please...

The Curtain

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Moody Rock ballad with haunting melodies.
The Curtain

Here we are life I’ve been expecting
The part of you I’ve been dreading
Don’t let it end, I pray this way

Here we are life what happened to
What happened to the life
The life that I once knew
I can’t go on, the fight is gone

I curse you, I curse you, for this pain
I curse these, these scars that still remain
Life you’ve been so unfair
Sometimes just living’s too much to bare

Here we are life I’m really hurting
You’ve led me to this place
You’ve led me to this curtain
You must go back, go back it isn’t time
This too will pass you will find

I curse you, I curse you, for this pain
I curse these, these scars that still remain
Life you’ve been so unfair
Sometimes just living’s too much to bare

An apparition appeared outside my window
And spoke of hope and understanding
Then he took my hand and softly said
Heaven waits within

You’ve brought me to my senses
You’ve filled this void
Life’s to glorious too let it be destroyed
The one thing I needed was already mine

I cursed you, I cursed you
You gave me strength
I cursed you and then you gave me faith
Saved me from, from my own hand
And made life worth living again

I tell myself each day I pray
Don’t give up let it end this way
There’s still so much worth living for
You rescued me, you opened up the door
Holding on to dear life
You rescued, rescued me, and you rescued me
Saved me from, from my own hand, and rescued me

Can You Hear Us

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Mid-Tempo Pop/Rock Anthem about homeless children.
Can You Hear Us

Look around see the children playing
Something’s wrong but they’re not saying
Just another cold and lonely night
In the struggle to survive
Look around see them dying to believe
That there’s more to life than what their eyes are seeing
They’re holding on in spirit
Won’t someone hear them

God in Heaven can you hear us
God in Heaven are you near us
Let them know, know that they’re not forgotten
God in Heaven can you hear us?

Let us not judge or justify
When there but for the grace of God go I
Some are just so weary they could cry
Some have crossed their hearts and hoped to die
How can they be so brave
Who will wash their tears away
Children can be so forgiving
Get them out of this life they’re living

God in Heaven can you hear us
God in Heaven are you near us
Let them know, know that they’re not forgotten
God in Heaven can you hear us?

They’ve crossed their hearts and hoped to die
Don’t let them give up the fight

God in Heaven can you hear us
God in Heaven are you near us
Let them know, know that they’re not forgotten
God in Heaven can you hear us?

It should never be, never be this way
It should never be this way
It should never be, never be this way
God in Heaven can you hear us
Can you hear us
Cause they need to know right now
Let them know, let them know...
Can you hear us
Can you hear us?

All I Ever Need

(Haven)
Pamme, Vanselow, Stein, Hotz
When did I settle? When did time creep up on me and convince me that my hopes
and dreams belong only to yesterday? "All I Ever Need" is about reconnecting to
the spirit within that fuels our passion and purpose - and eagerly awaits the
reunion!
All I Ever Need

Can it be time has finally found me
Can it be seeking shelter from the storm
Once again, my life seems at an end
Tell me, true faith never wanes
It’s just waiting to be claimed, oh

I’ve been dreaming of yesterday
Back to the spirit that I had, I thought I’d always have
Oh I’ve been dreaming of yesterday
When something to believe was all I’d ever need
I call on you now

Can it be time has finally found me
Can it be nowhere closer to the goal
Oh it hurts so bad, you’re all I have
Faith carry me once more
Make these weary wings soar

I’ve been dreaming of yesterday
Back to the spirit that I had, I thought I’d always have
Oh I’ve been dreaming of yesterday
When something to believe was all I’d ever need
I call on you now

Seems like I’m always searching
Something’s still missing
And if I can’t bring back yesterday
Then I’ll gratefully take tomorrow’s hand

Once again, my life seems at an end
Faith carry, won’t you carry me

Chorus

I call on you now, I call on you, I call on you now
I call on you now, I call on you, I call on you now
Something to believe... is all we ever need ....
I call on you now....
Something to believe is all we ever really need

Halfway Home

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Halfway Home

I can’t find room in this crowded soul
I struggle to hold on to what I know I’m losing
All my yesterdays

I gave you all I had to give
No there’s no life baby left within me, left within

Through your darkest hour all alone
Just find the strength cause time awaits for no one baby
Through your darkest hour all alone
Just find the strength and your halfway home

The road’s been dampened by my tears
But my dreams are stronger than my fears
The winds of change are blowing no pain’s been wasted
So let the search be over, coming home

Home is where your heart resides
The one road that I’ve yet to try, yet to try

Through your darkest hour all alone
Just find the strength cause time awaits for no one baby
Through your darkest hour all alone
Just find the strength and your halfway home

I search the storage of my mind
Traces what I’ve left behind
They say you can’t go home again
How I wish I could have just known then
I found my strength, restored my faith I’m coming home
I’ve found my way, a new day’s dawning

Home is where your heart resides
In speechless joy I close my eyes, coming home

Through your darkest hour all alone
Just find the strength cause time awaits for no one baby
Through your darkest hour all alone
Just find the strength and your halfway home

Strange Premonition

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Smokin' guitar riff song. This song "hits em hard and hits em heavy"... Matt Sorum
at his thunderous best!
Strange Premonition

People said that you’re no good for me
I didn’t hear a word they said
But now I’ve got this silent screaming
This little voice inside my head
You’ve gone from one lie to another
You’ve played me for a fool
How can I live without you
Just watch me baby, it’s good-bye to you

Don’t tell me, I believed you
Don’t tell me, that you’ve been true
Call it a

Strange, strange premonition
Just a woman’s intuition

Your promises, they don’t mean nothing
I can’t believe a word you’ve said
I can’t believe it took so long to see
The cat’s away the mice will play
You’ll be living to regret it
You’ll get what you deserve
You’ve taken me for granted
Good luck baby, the tables are turning

Don’t tell me, I believed you
Don’t tell me, cuz my first clue
Was a

Chorus

I should have, should have, should
Should have known better, yeah
I should have, should have, should
Should have known better
Well good luck baby, cuz I know now

Chorus

You won’t get me to change my mind
You’ve let me down the last time
You won’t hurt me anymore
Cuz now I know better...
Strange, strange premonition
Just a woman’s intuition....

Face The Day

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Face The Day

Morning comes too soon
I still nurse these wounds
Now you’re gone
Mine is the heart that’s breaking
Trying not to waken
It’s barely dawn
Here is right where I’ll be
Drowning in this sea of misery

How can I face the day
You’ve left me here alone without a trace
How can I face the day
When everywhere I turn you’re all I see
I’m losing you I feel
The pain that times refused to heal

Oh am I stranded here
In the darkest hallway of my life
Left to stand or fall
To face this crucible
Now you’re gone
You’ve found your own way
But in my heart is where you’ll stay

How can I face the day
You’ve left me here alone without a trace
How can I face the day
When everywhere I turn you’re all I see
I’m losing you I feel
The pain that times refused to heal

When will the love that lingers on
Replace the grief that steals my song

Oh I reached for you and then somehow knew
Good-bye doesn’t me forever
Oh I reached for you and you felt it too, baby
Love is all that matters

Chorus

I’m trying to believe
That you are where you need to be

Show Them

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Show Them

I’m amazed it took so long
It took so long to see
We are, are where we
Where we’ve chosen to be
When inside this mind
Where my future’s born
I think twice, I might get what I wish for
In a world, in a world that I’ve created
No act of love is ever wasted, won’t you

Show them, show them
The love inside of you
It’s not hard to believe, It’s even easier to do, won’t you
Show them, show them
That love waits within
It’s not hard to believe
To let the miracles
Let the miracles begin

I’m amazed it took so long
It took so long to see
We are, are what we
What we choose to believe
What I feel inside, I’ll find everywhere
So I’ll send my love on
A wing and a prayer
Into a world, into a world
That’s searching too
Return to love, to the love inside of you, won’t you

Chorus

So climb inside your mind and find
The dream keeper awaits to
Welcome you, to follow through
On the dreams
That so long have escaped you

Chorus

C’mon, c’mon, c’omn, c’mon baby
C’mon it’s up to you now
It’s not hard to believe, It’s even easier to do
C’mon, c’mon, c’omn, c’mon baby
C’mon it’s up to you now
It’s not hard to believe, To let the miracles
Let the miracles begin

The Road

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
"The Road" is about losing someone who never lost faith or stopped believing in
you. It is the subsequent bittersweet journey to find your way back to the faith you
once had in yourself - grateful for having loved and been loved so indelibly and
without ceasing.
Show Them

I’m amazed it took so long
It took so long to see
We are, are where we

Someday Soon

(Haven)
Pamme, Stein, Vanselow
Someday Soon

I found myself questioning the contents of my soul
I found that I have been both ally and foe
Of all the things I feel, God I wish I knew
Have I been running from myself
What am I running to?
Running to, Running to
Running to, Running to

Someday soon I will find the light
Someday soon I won’t be too scared to try
Someday soon won’t stand in my way
And that day is just a thought away

I’ve stood at the crossroads watching my dreams slowly fade
I’ve walked the razors’ edge through the mines I’ve laid
Then a raging voice inside my head said choice is everywhere
And if you listen to your heart, your heart will lead you there
Lead you there, lead you there
Lead you there, lead you there

Someday soon I will find the light
Someday soon I won’t be too scared to try
Someday soon won’t stand in my way
And that day is just a thought away

Most of my life I’ve been paralyzed
Standing in my way
There was no way out, this cage of doubt
But that’s over now

Someday soon I will find the light
Someday soon I won’t be too scared to try
Someday soon won’t stand in my way
And that day is just a thought away

Someday, Someday
I won’t be scared to try and I will fight
With all my might someday...
Someday, Someday
I won’t stand in my way
And I will find the light that lights my way
And that doesn’t mean that I’m tired of dreaming
Just tired of being afraid
It’s time to free the prisoner in me
Someday soon, that’s just a thought away
And I will find the light that lights my way....

Be The One

(Haven)
Pamme. Stein, Vanselow
Be The One

Last night I saw you, and I knew
From one look in your eyes
You felt the same way, though you’d say
How good you’ve been baby
You never know just what you’ve got until it’s gone
I can’t forget you and time wont let you I know
Forget about me

You said I’d always be the one
It’s been a cold night since you’ve been gone
Such a cold night since you’ve been gone

I never told you or showed you
How much I really care
The love you gave me had saved me
There’s still so much to share, baby
I’d never hurt you darling, it’s tearing me apart
I can’t live since you’ve been gone
I’m begging you baby

You said I’d always be the one
It’s been a cold night since you’ve been gone
Such a cold night since you’ve been gone
You said I’d always be the one
We both were wrong
But here we are back where we belong

Can’t live without you
I’ve tried to be strong
But baby everything’s wrong
Since you’ve been gone

Chorus

You said I’d always be the one
Its been a cold night since you’ve been gone
You said I’d always be the one
Its been a cold night since you’ve been gone
You said I’d always be the one baby, you know you did
It’s been so long, baby it’s been so long
But here we are, it’s been so long
Baby it’s been so long, back where we belong

Forgiveness

(Haven)
Pamme, Vanselow, Stein
Forgiveness

Look in the mirror
It cuts right to the bone
Been repaying over
For debts that never were your own
You’re not the only one
One who feels this way
You’re never given more than you can take

Forgiveness
That’s what love is for
Forgiveness
Divine in any form
Forgiveness
Learn to let go, learn to love again
To love again
The hungry heart is left unfed
When hurt and anger fills your head

Standing your ground
You’ve buried your regret
Your world’s turning colder
You can’t forgive, you won’t forget
Lost in memories
Of what once was, what won’t be
Love is all we really need

So build your bridge, break down the wall
Just build your bridge, break down the wall
Cuz you’ve lost more, much more than you’ve won
And there’s no room for the walking wounded
There’s still so much left unsaid
Break down the wall

CHORUS

It feeds your head, It feeds your head
It feeds your head, It feeds your head
Mirror mirror on the wall
Who’s the loneliest of all?
Mirror mirror on the wall
Who’s the loneliest of all?

There’s still so much left unsaid, Forgive
There’s still so much left unsaid, Forgive
There’s still so much left unsaid, Forgive
There’s still so much left unsaid, Forgiveness

"Heart Attack" is an electrifying tribute to the greatest female fronted hard rock band of all time, Heart.

"Heart Attack" features the standout track "Allies" performed by Haven, whose alumn includes: Matt Malley (Counting Crowes), Robin McCauley (McCauley/Schenker Group), Steven Klong (Wilson-Philips, Infectious Grooves, Nelson, Berlin) and Lars-Eric Mattsson.

Brought to you by Shark Bite Records, "the only label with teeth"!
Allies

In troubled times it's hard to get straight answers
Between the lines that border wrong or right
The homeland cries and struggles with confusion
But the spirit still remains like shelter from the rain

We live on faith in the hands of those who guide us
And tear the page on the fears we left behind
We set the pace for every born survivor
Don't turn the other way when I need you here you say

Allies
With our backs against the wall
I will answer when you call
And take on the odds for what we believe is true
Allies
In a world of too much choice
I only need your voice
Tell me you care I'll be anywhere for you
Allies

We live on faith in the hands of those who guide us
And tear the page on the fears we left behind
If faith is blind through darkness it will guide us
Don't turn the other way when I need you here you say

Allies
With our backs against the wall
I will answer when you call
And take on the odds for what we believe is true
Allies
In a world of too much choice
I only need your voice
Tell me you care I'll be anywhere for you

Tell The truth

(Haven)
Hunter, Roth, Tuggle
Pamme is also featured on the song “Tell the Truth” by David Lee Roth for the Jason Becker Tribute CD, "Warmth in the Wilderness". All the profits go to Jason and his family to help with his disease, ALS. Jason was David Lee Roth’s guitarist for a couple of albums until his disease forced him to put down the guitar. A lot of well known musicians are involved in this worthwhile project. For a list of everyone involved and all about the tribute...

The CD has had some great reviews, including Billboard magazine. The song Pamme sang with Robin McAuley and Johnny Lima has been singled out as one of the standouts on the CD.
